On December 14, 2016 the Conference “Implementation of Resource and Cleaner Production in Ukraine” will take place in Kyiv. It is organized under the support of United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) within the framework of UNIDO’s projects “Promoting the Adaptation and Adoption of Resource Efficient and Cleaner Production (RECP) through the Establishment and Operation of a Cleaner Production Centre (CPC) in Ukraine” and Demonstration RECP component of “Greening Economies in the European Union's Eastern Neighborhood” (EaP GREEN) Programme, financed by EU.

Venue: Premier Hotel “Rus”, conference-hall “A” (4 Hospitalna Str., Kyiv, Ukraine).

Beginning: 10:00

Registration starts at 9:30.

The main objectives of the Conference are:

• dissemination of achieved results on RECP implementation activities in Ukraine;
• awareness raising and understanding of the RECP opportunities and benefits at the national and regional levels among enterprises, government and civil society;
• discussion of the current progress on transfer to green economy and further steps in greening of industry in Ukraine; and
• attraction of the donor support and technical assistance in the area of environment and green industry for further realization of RECP programmes in Ukraine.

The Conference welcomes representatives from the Ministries of Ecology, Economic and Regional Development, international governmental and nongovernmental organizations, financial institutions, local authorities, business associations, enterprises and expert organizations.
